It may seem there is a lot in the section, but this Unit appears long since the reasoning behind many common techniques is explained. For example, in practice if you know how to convert from fraction to decimal that is all you will need, but in the notes I take the time to offer some explanation of the process so it isn’t just a process to be implemented. I also introduce the idea of converting from words to math, since that skill is used often. Future Units where the concepts are more complicated will have fewer concepts in a Unit.
